PROJECTS / RESEARCH

Titel of Thesis "Decoding Cortical Motor Goal Representations in a 3D Real-world Environment"

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My main goal is to understand how cognition can arise from a biological system build out of relatively simple structures. Especially the functionality of cortical structures known for higher order perception fascinates me.
Despite a huge effort in neuroscientific research most core functionalities of the brain seem to be still unclear. I hope to be able to reveal some insights into the link between the biological structure and cognition.
