PROJECTS / RESEARCH

Current title of PhD project: "PhD Thesis: Optimizing transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) with a neurovascular coupling model

MSc Thesis:Investigation of transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) on enhancing Working Memory (WM) in healthy subjects: a pilot fMRI study

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in the development and optimization of non-invasive neurological stimulation modalities that can induce specific and lasting changes in neuroplasticity. These procedures will be helpful not only in the clinical application of treating neuropsychiatric diseases, but also in studying cognitive effects. Moreover, I am interested in the application and development of brain imaging techniques, such as MRI, for enriching our understanding of the human nervous system.
