PROJECTS / RESEARCH

1. Effect of circulating autoantibodies on brain functions upon blood-brain-barrier leakage – increasing significance in aging mammals
2. Role of the "classical" erythropoietin receptor (EPOR) in microglia

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

1. I am interested in the autoantibodies (NMDAR-AB) formation and kinetics, try to understand their effect on brain function.
2. Explore the consequences of erythropoietin receptor (EPOR) loss in microglia and immune response after inflammation, try to understand the role of classical erythropoietin receptor (EPOR) in microglia.
